Chrissann Stewart is the creator and founder of Nywele Noir. Born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica, she migrated to the States in 1998. With the goal of creating opportunities for her family, she left the island determined for success.

Her passion for hair started long before she left Jamaica and became apparent when she decided to pursue cosmetology not long after reaching the U.S.

Chrissann attended Marinello School of Beauty in 2000 and graduated two weeks prior to her graduation date. Pursuing cosmetology caught her full attention. She didn’t just like styling hair, but was destined to understand it. Discovering that hair had a life of its own, and she needed to nourish it, she went all in.

Hair plays a vital part in having us looking and feeling our best. Chrissann’s mission is to meet and exceed her clients needs and to give you an experience that leaves you anticipating your next appointment.
